Position Summary

As an Automotive Service Technician at BMW of Humboldt Bay, you will service and repair vehicles according to established standards and procedures. You may also perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure that new vehicles meet quality expectations before reaching our customers. Your role is essential in maintaining customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality workmanship and professional service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine service inspections, maintenance jobs, and repair work on vehicles
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles throughout service and after repairs
  • Ensure all required documentation complies with regulations and company standards
  • Help maintain shop appearance, safety standards, and efficiency through duties such as inventory stocking
  • Adhere to shop policies, safety procedures, and environmental guidelines
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as required
  • Complete additional duties assigned by management

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
  • Basic computer skills including internet usage
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer service orientation
  • Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and technical materials
  • Safety-conscious attitude with attention to detail
  • Experience preferred but entry level candidates with relevant training are welcome
