Position Overview

As a Master Certified Service Technician at BMW of Humboldt Bay, you will service and repair vehicles following established standards and procedures. You may also perform pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles to ensure they meet customer expectations. Our goal is to deliver the highest quality service and maintain excellent customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Diagnose vehicle issues using experience, analysis, and testing methods
  • Perform routine and complex repairs and service inspections independently
  • Maintain the highest level of training and certification
  • Keep vehicles clean during service and repair processes
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in compliance with regulations
  • Contribute to shop cleanliness and safety, including inventory management and other general tasks
  • Follow all shop policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules
  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and educational classes as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Working Environment

You will work in a fast-paced, professional team environment. This role requires physical stamina and dexterity to handle various tasks safely and efficiently.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Extensive dealer-level or large facility experience as a Master Certified Technician
  • Strong mechanical and electrical automotive knowledge
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Professional, dependable, and safety-conscious work ethic
  • Basic computer and internet skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to read and understand technical instructions
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
